1. I hope you’re doing well! I had a wonderfully low-key homebody weekend filled with rest, housework, new creative projects, and lots of kitty cuddles — exactly what I needed!
Thanks to social media, it’s easy to feel like everyone else is always off on epic adventures, but remember, it’s all a highlight reel. Even the most adventurous need a chill recovery weekend every now and then!
2. Lately, I’ve been curating my Instagram feed to get some new inspiration: unique fashion, home renovation, cats (always), crafting, DIY, and following other creative creators. If you’re looking to diversify your own feed, here are some accounts I’ve been loving:
@sibster | Low waste, low-cost crafts, and DIYs
@siranda_manchez | Creative fashion and lifestyle
@jayciesdiary | Self-love and personal growth
@kyliekatich | DIYing her dream home
3. On a personal note, I’m coming up on two years of being a full-time content creator, and I can’t stop thinking about how accurately this post describes the job. I love my job but as you know, two conflicting emotions can exist at the same time. I’ve spent the summer contemplating how I want to show up online..

6. In other news, I’m reading the fourth book of the Throne of Glass series and love it!!! After I finish this series (which will be easy because I’m listening nonstop), I plan to start the Crescent City series, as recommended by my bestie, Mary.
7. With a cozy weekend comes some good TV binging! I watched The Perfect Couple on Netflix and loved it! I read the book by Elin Hilderbrand a few years ago, and I’m such a sucker for her stories!
Dom and I binged the second season of Outlast on Netflix! The concept is pretty straightforward — a group of people are dropped in the Alaskan wilderness, and they have to outlast each other. I’m in awe of what they endure; I don’t think I’d make it one night, haha. 😅
8. Now, let’s move on to some products I’ve been loving lately! On the adventurous side, it’s been these $10 sunglasses straps. I thought they were a little dorky at first, but they’re actually super handy and cute — plus, I’m losing (or sitting on) my sunglasses way less!
9. On the homebody side, we bought a Ninja Creami from Costco! Full disclosure: We’ve only used it to make protein ice cream, haha. I like it, but it’s a bit of a process — you have to mix, freeze for a day, thaw a bit, and then use the (very loud) Creami to blend it all together. This week, we will try some new recipes I’ve been saving!
Sending love! Jacey
